PDF documents are very popular nowadays and more and more often we encounter the need to make some changes to them. Sometimes we need to get rid of some pages, sometimes divide the document into smaller ones, and sometimes combine it with another PDF. We can perform these and other tasks for free thanks to the SwifDoo PDF program.
I’ve had people ask me for help with PDF documents many times. Sometimes it was to reduce the file size, while other times it was necessary to export only a few pages to separate files. If you often have to perform similar operations on PDF files, you would certainly benefit from a processional PDF program that allows you to do it all with just a few mouse clicks. This is where SwifDoo PDF comes in handy.
Manage PDF Documents with SwifDoo PDF
Using SwifDoo PDF we can easily perform various operations on PDF files. The user can split files into smaller ones, combine two or more documents into a larger one, extract all pages into separate PDF files, insert pages into existing documents, and much more. Let’s take a look at the most important features and operation of the application.
Once you launch the program, you will be presented with a simple interface with an empty list of PDF files. To start working, add the file on which we will perform individual operations to the list. To do this, click on the green file icon and then select the document from the local disk.
Once the document (one or more) has been added to the list, it’s time to perform some operations. All available main functions can be found on the top of the program main interface. After clicking on a specific feature tag, a list will expand from which you can select what you want to do with a PDF file.
Merge PDF Files
This option allows you to combine all PDF documents in the list into a large one. When we select it from the main menu, the program will ask us to add new file(s) for the collective document. Enter the name and click the “Start” button. After opening the newly created PDF document, we will notice that it has all pages from all the combined files.
Split PDF Files, i.e. extracting all pages
The Split PDF option allows you to extract all pages into separate documents. After selecting this option, you must indicate the place where all pages will be extracted. Confirmation of the operation will create a separate PDF file for each page, i.e. if we extract the content of a 48-page PDF document, 48 PDF files will be created.Divide PDF Pages, i.e. dividing the document into smaller parts
The Divide Page option allows you to divide the document. Unlike Split, however, it does not create a separate document for each page. When selecting Divide, you must specify how many parts you want to divide the file into. For example, dividing a 48-page document into two parts will result in two documents of 24 pages each.We can also choose whether we want to divide it into two equal parts, or maybe we want to limit them to a specific size.
Extract PDF, i.e. extracting individual pages
After selecting this option, we can export several pages from the document. Just indicate the range, e.g. from page 5 to 15, and then specify the location of the pages.
This option allows you to insert new pages into existing documents. We can select the file from which the page is to be inserted and indicate its place (beginning, end or after a selected page in the document).
In addition to these options, you will also find the Protect function, thanks to which you can impose a password on the document, as well as several other settings that allow you to display, for example, the metadata of a PDF document.
In Conclusion
Therefore, if you are looking for an application that will allow you to manage PDF documents and perform various operations on them from one place, it is hard to find something better than SwifDoo PDF. It is also important that the application is free, so no watermarks are pasted into our documents and there are no other restrictions.
